First Lady, Stephanie Dillard, was given a charge from God to lead women into being their very best spiritually, emotionally, physically, and socially. As the church Women’s Ministry Director, Lady Dillard envisioned a women’s department that would also speak to the desires and longings of both young and old. Lady Dillard has a passion for souls, concerning the youth and young women of this generation and firmly believes in the power of prayer and deliverance.
In 2005, Woman by God’s Design was birthed to change lives of women in a positive and uplifting way. Woman by God’s Design originated as a yearly women’s conference weekend focused on prayer and community outreach. In the past eight years, Woman by God’s Design has sponsored numerous community service projects and special events, contributing to various service agencies and educational institutions. Some of the community outreach events and service projects include: Mary’s Girls (Memphis City Schools), Fresh Start Women’s Shelter, Jan Crouch-Smile for a Child, Coats for Kids, National Alliance for the Mentally ill, and The Neighborhood Christian Center.
Woman by God’s Design seeks to not only positively change the lives of women in the church and community, but to encourage girls and young ladies to live a successful and purposeful life according to God’s Word through an extended program called Young Covenant Sisters (YCS). YCS is an organization designed to motivate, equip, support, and prepare girls and young ladies to excel in every area of their lives.
Woman by God’s Design continues monthly with its mission of prayer and focus groups that allows women to come together in love and support of one another.
